A Wonderful Red Dress for a Wedding on The Isle of Skye

If you want to stand out on your wedding day then there is nothing better than a red dress for a wedding on the Isle of Skye. Hannah wanted to be just a little bit different when she eloped to Skye to Dylan. She chose a dress that looked amazing amongst the autumn tones on the island in late September.

Dylan and Hannah had originally planed to elope in April but Covid restrictions had other ideas. They managed to keep their secret for another five months and changed all their plans to the end of September when Autumn was beginning to work its magic on the island.

They chose a spot near Dunvegan in a village called Glendale for their ceremony with Ocean Graham, an inter faith minister. Dylan loves landscape photography and chose a lovely spot with great views across the scenery. It also has a great cafe (Cafe Lephin) nearby, which was the scene for signing the register, steaming mugs of coffee and big portions of cake as well!

After warming up by the fire we headed out to some nearby spots for some pictures before returning to their quiet cottage, set high on the cliffs, where their two beautiful dogs were waiting patiently for their return.

If you haven’t made your mind up yet a red dress for a wedding on the Isle of Skye is a great choice. Take a look at why!
