Senior Portraits in Scotland

Something a bit different…

Berlin wasn’t looking forward to her senior shoot with me on the Isle of Skye! I was warned beforehand that she isn’t girlie, doesn’t want to pose in a frilly dress, and doesn’t want anything “ordinary”!

I do love a challenge and, as someone who got married in sparkly boots myself, I totally understood her vibe.

Lochs and Layers

Posing by the shores of Loch Dunvegan or Loch Fada, where the still waters mirror the surrounding landscapes like a natural canvas, certainly stands out from the traditional sports field or school lockers pictures! The reflections of the lochs are as a poetic reflection of your senior year, and you can embrace the water if you want to get a bit wet, too!

Embrace the weather!

Berlin was initially nervous about her senior photoshoot, but very quickly relaxed into it and really embraced everything that Skye has to offer. When the clouds blew in, she laughed and splashed in puddles! So we had no choice but to go with it and have LOTS of fun in the rain.
